Getting some in person, hands-on help can be very valuable and help you make the most of your carrying journey.
We can help and guide you into choosing the carrier that will work best for your needs. We have many years of experience and understand the needs of parents and children.
You can book some 1-2-1 help from our trained professionals and get off to a flying start, or get some support with your existing carrier, or learn a new skill (such as back carrying!)
We offer these appointments at our boutique in Sheffield, or online via Zoom for our less local customers!
Sometimes you may just need a quick fit check, or a tiny tweak of your carrier, or would like some reassurance that you’ve got it right.
We have lots of ten-minute free appointments throughout the week for these little moments, to help build your confidence.
These can be available online too!
Please be aware that ten minutes is very short and is not suitable for complex queries or learning how to use a sling or to look at several options. If you aren’t sure what you need, please get in touch and we will guide you!
We offer a try before you buy service, as we also run the Sheffield Sling Surgery and Library! This is an excellent way to take a few options home on hire to see how they feel in real life, and can save you a lot of money and stress in the long run!
Hires can be arranged via post, too.
This can also be an excellent way to borrow carriers or babywearing coats for particular trips, such as wet weekends away, or summer holidays in the sunshine!
We know how important supportive communities are for the health and wellbeing of families! Our free six week 4th Trimester service for new parents and parents-to-be has been running since 2013 and remains extremely popular. We have a facebook group for the sling community to share and encourage each other and ask questions. Our Snug space is home to other groups, such as the Nappy Library, dance with your baby classes, and breastfeeding support, for example.
