We usually use the Royal Mail* for shipping. Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. We aim to post within two working days. Orders made between Christmas and New Year will be despatched on the first working day of the New Year.
The Free Delivery option (for orders over £50) is only available within the UK and for new stock items only. EU delivery charges are usually around £15-£20 depending on the product(s) purchased, please pick your country from the drop down menus. Deliveries to the EU may be subject to Customs Fees, so please check prior to ordering.

We are sorry but we are unable to ship to the United States & Canada.
Free UK shipping – items will be sent by Royal Mail Second Class Post and applies to your initial order only. If you exchange an item, we will charge the cost of shipping the replacement item to you at cost.
Standard Shipping – We will despatch your item via Royal Mail First Class post and it should be with you within two working days from your order.
UK Next Day Delivery – For guaranteed next working day delivery items will be shipped Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year where we all have a rest. Please order by 12 noon.
Please be aware we are a small family business with young children and will do our best to answer any queries as soon as we are able.
* We may send items via an alternative carrier to Royal Mail where applicable, but this is subject to our discretion.
We do not store credit card details on the website. We only use your data to process your order and any relevant additional communication to help fulfil the order. You are welcome to sign up separately for emails about promotions and special offers.
Returns and your Right to Cancel
We hope you will enjoy the purchase process and of course, your carrier. We understand that sometimes your purchase may not be right for you and that you may wish to return it. We suggest a Please email us at email@example.com for instructions on how to return items.
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org in this time frame for instructions on how to return your purchase. You must contact us prior to returning the goods; without this, a returned item will not be accepted.
Goods must be returned in an as-new condition, unused and in their original packaging, with all accessories and instructions. If you return an item which is not in an as new condition your refund may be declined or you may be offered a partial refund to account for the resale condition. This includes dribble marks or washing.
You shall bear the cost of returning the goods. We recommend you use a tracked service as the goods remain your responsibility until they are in our possession.
We do not refund additional shipping fees, in cases where you have chosen an express or premium delivery service.
We offer a variety of ex-library carriers for sale on the Sheffield Sling Surgery website. All of these carriers are safety checked prior to being offered for sale and we will highlight any details that are specific to the carrier on sale. Ex-Library carrier orders do not qualify for free postage.
If you decide you do not wish to keep the carrier within the first two weeks of ownership, you can return it, and a two week hire fee of £15 will be deducted from your refund. Please note that carriers should be returned in the condition that they were sold or refunds may be refused.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
In the unlikely event that a product you purchase from us is faulty, please contact us at email@example.com within 7 days of receipt for instructions on how to return your carrier.
For items returned due to a fault* or damaged in transit, we will reimburse the cost of return on receipt with us, if items are in satisfactory condition. We recommend you use a tracked service as the goods remain your responsibility until they are in our possession.
If the goods have been damaged in transit, please email us within 48hours at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For possible faults that occur within the first few months after purchase, we may have to contact our supplier for advice on how to proceed and whether there is a warranty claim or not. We thank you for your patience when resolving any issues.
* faults do not include accidental damage caused by you or deciding that a carrier doesn’t fit or has a pattern you don’t like.
